Terms of Service
Last updated 21 July 2026
These terms govern your use of motox2.com and any purchase made through it. By placing an order, creating an account, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Motomoto Limited (“Motomoto”, “we”, “us”) supplies industrial pumps, pump spare parts, mechanical seals, bearings, instrumentation, and water treatment equipment, based in Nairobi, Kenya, and delivering across East Africa.
2. Products and pricing
- Product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided to help you identify the correct part — always confirm SKU, model, and specifications against your requirement before ordering, especially for fit-critical items like seals and bearings.
- Prices are shown in your selected display currency for convenience, but every order is charged in the product’s native listed currency (see the disclaimer shown at checkout) — display conversions are estimates, not the final charge.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors, and to cancel orders affected by them.
- Stock levels shown on the site are indicative and may change between browsing and checkout.
3. Orders and payment
- An order is a request to purchase, not a guaranteed sale — we confirm orders once payment and stock are verified.
- We currently support M-Pesa (Kenya) and Flutterwave (card, mobile money, and bank transfer across East Africa). Bank transfer is available on request.
- Guest checkout is available; you do not need an account to place an order, though an account lets you track order history and save addresses.
4. Delivery
See our Shipping Info page for delivery zones, estimated timelines, and rates. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs processing, courier availability, or circumstances outside our control.
5. Returns, refunds, and warranty
Return eligibility is covered in our Returns Policy, and manufacturer warranty coverage is covered in our Warranty page. Both are part of these terms by reference.
6. Account responsibilities
- You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
- You agree to provide accurate delivery and contact information for every order.
- We may suspend accounts used for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motomoto is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of products purchased through the site, including losses arising from incorrect part selection, improper installation, or use outside a product’s specifications. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Kenyan law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya, without prejudice to any consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
This page is provided for general information and has not been reviewed by legal counsel. It should be reviewed against Kenyan consumer protection and sale-of-goods law, and the laws of every country Motomoto ships to, before being relied on as a binding legal document.
