Warranty

Every product we sell is genuine, sourced directly from the manufacturer or an authorized distributor, and carries that manufacturer's original warranty. Warranty terms are set by each manufacturer and vary by product — this page explains how coverage works and how to make a claim.

1. How manufacturer warranty works

Motomoto passes through the original manufacturer’s warranty on every product we sell — we don’t shorten or alter it. Typical coverage across our catalog:

  • Pumps and motors (Grundfos, Xylem, Lowara, Flygt, Pedrollo, Ebara, KSB, Wilo) — generally 12–24 months from date of purchase, depending on the manufacturer and product line.
  • Instrumentation and automation (Supmea, ABB, Siemens, SEKO) — generally 12 months from date of purchase.
  • Spare parts, seals, and bearings — coverage varies by manufacturer; the exact term for a specific SKU is shown on its product page where available.

The specification sheet or datasheet for each product (available on its product page) is the authoritative source for that item’s exact warranty term where it differs from the above.

2. What's covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use.
  • Premature failure of the product when installed and operated within its rated specifications.

3. What's not covered

  • Damage from incorrect installation, wiring, or plumbing not performed to the manufacturer’s specification.
  • Damage from operating outside rated voltage, pressure, flow, or temperature specifications.
  • Normal wear items (seals, gaskets, bearings) reaching end of service life through normal use.
  • Damage from unauthorized repair, modification, or use of non-genuine replacement parts.
  • Damage from power surges, water damage, or events outside the manufacturer’s control.

4. Making a warranty claim

  1. Contact our sales team with your order number, the product SKU, and a description of the fault (photos or video help).
  2. We’ll assess the claim and, where needed, liaise with the manufacturer or their regional distributor on your behalf.
  3. Approved claims are resolved by repair, replacement, or manufacturer credit, per that manufacturer’s policy — timelines vary by brand and part availability.

Keep your order confirmation or invoice — it’s the easiest way to confirm purchase date for a warranty claim.

5. Related

Faulty items reported within 7 days of delivery are typically handled under our faster Returns Policy instead of a manufacturer warranty claim — contact us and we’ll route you to whichever is quicker.
